So what did Sandra and I order?
CHILI on a chili January evening!! Take-out food from Culver’s meant to satisfy the soul, and the palate…
Mission accomplished!! We enjoyed or chili supreme, loaded with crisp onions, sour cream and melted cheddar cheese. Quite delightful, I must say!!
A siren is heard outside, as we remember our fellow brothers and sisters struggling in Minneapolis for their civil rights to be honored! Now, two people have died in that great city to the North…where ICE is continuing to make footprints in the snow, dripping with the blood of innocent protesters asserting to be heard!
I am grateful to my sister MK for following up with me today. I had expressed to her yesterday how difficult a time I was finding with things, and she wanted to see how I was doing today…I surely appreciate that she got back to me. I spent the entire day in my apartment yesterday—a very uncommon occurrence…Sandra asked me how my kitty Murray might have felt—me spending the WHOLE DAY with him, and all. He seemed AOK with it, actually being a little more cuddly than usual.
I feel blessed to have friends and family who are in touch with me! I appreciate any help I can get and I trust my loved ones to feel free to share with me ANY & ALL feedback they can give me.
This chili day has been a long one for me, but I feel Graced and held close by my friend Sandra. She has been a true blessing to me and I ever-appreciate her helpful and optimistic insights and reflections that she presents to me!! Thank You God for good friends!!
