I just got off a call with one of my great friends K! She is a lively, humorous, serious human being who I respect highly and I am always graced to talk with!!
It just really occurred to me how POWERFUL great support and friendship can be in one’s life. It certainly is with mine!!My friend K helped me take a good look at the NAMI CONNECTIONS (Nat. Alliance for Mental illness) Group in which I was at a funeral yesterday instead of going to Group. WOW! To be able to share with the NAMI Group is one of the highlights of my week, and I surely missed it yesterday.
FRIENDSHIP MATTERS because it DOES!!! I do not know who or where I would be if I did not have my blood brothers and sisters, AND my many close friendships to be a part of! They are my LIFE BLOOD, in many ways and I love and honor all of them dearly!!
Do YOU have a forgotten or overlooked friend you could get in touch with to rekindle a close relationship? It’s worth more than its weight in GOLD to kindle relationships with those who we truly love, but have just haven’t made such a relationship a priority. I challenge you to make at least one call tonight to someone you miss. It’ll be darn well worth it! God Bless!!
