All Night to Write anything I want…
And I choose to spend my time with you, here on my blog!
I’m here after dark evening, as my kitty Murray lies behind my computer screen…and he starts chewing on my cord!! Thwart! Cease and desist!! He can be so silly!
Tonight I am enlivened by the Grace God is showing me in my relationship with X-wife Sandra!! She is such a special friend—who knows me better than anyone, and ditto from her to me! I receive understanding and warmth that overcomes any differences we may have! We were married for 15 years, but my bipolar unwaveryness was too much pressure on Sandra…I am the first to admit that I can be very unpredictable, as a person challenged by bipolar disorder.
But Sandra is a lighthouse for me! She shines her light on my path and points the way with her tenderness! I am so blessed to have such a great friend!! A friend who deals with chronic pain humbly and with Grace. I told her that I was going to do some blogging tonight—little did she know she would be the focus of my keyboard tappings! I didn’t either until she told me in our nightly phone call, “What are you going to be writing about?” Hmmm…let me think…
Tomorrow, I am going to be bringing my kitty Murray over to Sandra’s condo and we are going to share the day together—the 3 of us! We’ve had Murray over once before and he really seemed to enjoy it—plenty of new realms to occupy and explore—I have a very curious cat who LOVES TO PLAY!! And play he will!!
We had choir practice tonight at All Saints! I LOVE Thursday nights when we all get together from 6 – 7:15 pm singing our hearts out and exploring new and wonderful ways to praise our Lord! The choir is going to be the focal point of a Black History Month get-together in two weeks! It’s going to be a marvelous evening of story-telling and Gospel music that is sure to bring down the house!!
Not only do I get to sing in the choir twice a week, but I am a part of 3 Bible studies—2 on Wednesday and one on Sunday morning——all 3 with Sandra as a group member! Sandra is a vibrant and insightful fellow Christian who loves the group vibes, as I do!
I think God for the beauty of having such great people in my life to sing and pray with!!
