The good news is that my doctor has ruled out COVID and FLU …
The bad news is that I am experiencing the worst cough of my 63 years!!
Oh well, I now have my Murray companion to help me along the way!!
Sickness was bound to hit me at some point and I am blessed with a Family and many friends to help keep my Spirits high!! I also have a friend in JESUS to comfort and guide me! I can feel His Presence in my every-day life!!
I told my counselor Brad today that when I was doing my most recent blog, I realized that I have plenty of creative outlets which i have not been utilizing…my greeting cards were stored in my computer that got heisted in 2023 when all of my personal belongings were confiscated in late January 2023 when I was unjustly arrested for drunk driving in Lincoln Nebraska…they took my cards which were stored on my laptop, they stole my car and all of my personal belongings…so when I got back to Wisconsin in September of 2023, I had a clean slate—minus my Lincoln Corsair AND all of my greeting cards!!
SH** happens!!
So I really want to rediscover my card-making skills and begin to recreate some of them!! Problem is…where to start? Lord, help me…I do not know??
I’m getting discouraged oven thinking about it! But there must be a way!! I was even thinking that you all could help my out by sending back to me any cards that I have sent you in the past…THERE, I said it! I would be blessed by a rebound card you MAY HAVE kept along the way. If not, no worries. It’s a big production to create these cards, including an 8-1/2 X 11 original watercolor print, on which I put to use my own brand of calligraphy to make the picture come alive…Then I send these originals to Smart Set in Minneapolis who then make them into cards. It is a fantastic process, but a challenging one! God bless it at least that I KNOW what to do and how to do it, if I ever go back into creating more cards!!
