Sandra and I went to check out another place that she may want to move to, in time…it is called New Perspective and it is but a hop a skip and a jump away from her condo where she has lived the past 20+ years. This facility was very promising with a wash/dryer in every apartment and it isn’t a cookie-cutter set up with all of the rooms appearing exactly the same.
Stacie, the woman showing us around, brought us to all 4 floors and showing us a furnished and an empty apartment so we could really see what the apartments look like! It was a great tour, as Sandra utilized her new red scooter — which she handled very well!
I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and care put into the building itself, and into the variety of meals provided and the many opportunities for activities that people can enjoy as a part of this community!
This was the 2nd place I have viewed with Sandra and I REALLY liked it! They have a spa, a pool and plenty of cozy spaces where Sandra could be found reading a book in the sunshine! This looked like it would be a great place to live!! Sandra has just begun the process of viewing area facilities and today’s visit was very affirming, in my view!
I’m glad to be a part of the process—there is no rush, but none of us are getting any younger, and time will tell if Sandra will find the right FIT for her tastes. My opinion is that I give New Perspective to be an “A” – rating! I’m sure that Sandra and I will visit a good number of living situations that will captivate her attention, but today was a great opportunity to see an excellent place to live! I ask the Lord’s blessing on our search!!
